Emmastresses is a hair care and beauty brand that believes healthier organic ingredients will encourage healthier hair growth and radiant skin. Meet Our Founder & CEO, Melissa Steele MBA, MPH. 

Melissa Steele founded Emmastresses in 2014 after giving birth to her daughter Emma. She needed products to grow her hair. She researched Ingredients and formulated a hair care regimen to promote hair growth that not only worked for Emma’s hair but for her and her older daughter as well. She was soon approached by many asking her the secret to their hair growth. She gave her families and friends the ingredients for the hair oil and even made small bottles of hair oils to give out to them. They loved it, sweared by it and wanted more oils weekly. The hair growth they saw surpassed their expectations. Melissa have also cut her hair numerous times over the years to test her products and have always had the same end results. From there she decided to create a hair care line in 2021 to make it available to everyone who wanted to promote hair growth and retain fuller thicker hair. The company began on the back of one product, the Stimulating hair growth oil, a unique proprietary blend of organic herbs and minerals to moisturize and stimulate new growth that increases the appearance of hair density while reducing signs of shedding to bring you thicker, fuller looking hair.In addition to her work with Emmastresses, Melissa is working as an Epidemiologist and health and wellness coach. She spend most of her days researching new herbs and ingredients to formulate more hair and skincare products. She is actively growing her following and participating in community outreach programs to help women boost and retain their self esteem with confidence. As we know looks and appearances plays a pivotal part in everyday life and she has made it her mission to provide the products to help do so.
